Arden Tearoom has a surprising Boba location in Lakewood, Colorado
A quick weekend concert trip to Denver, Colorado led us to Arden Tea Room.
Patience is a Virtue
The weekend started was that the trip was initially to see a DJ named Dabin at Red Rock Amphitheater on
Friday, March 31st. Dabin’s concert was the season-opening concert for Red Rocks Amphitheater. Sadly it had to be postponed due to a brush fire nearby the venue.
But, who says patience doesn’t pay off?
Hours after being told that the Red Rocks concert was postponed, we found out that Dabin and his team had found a way to perform at another venue. The downside of that new venue was that it could only manage to fit anywhere between 1,500-2,000 people compared to Red Rocks where it could fit 9,500 people.
After hearing the news that another venue was secured, our group and a good portion of the other Red Rocks Dabin attendees flocked to the alternate venue. We can say waiting three hours had its moments… Highlights from the waiting in the line include numerous Pokemon being caught and many gym battles were fought through Pokemon Go #teammystic, new friends were made with the people around us, and the collective anger toward the people cutting the line so they could get into the club first.
We eventually got into the club and had a blast seeing Dabin and the guest DJs that were accompanying him in Colorado.
Relaxing Remaining Few Days
Since most of us haven’t really been to Denver and the surrounding area. The remaining time we had for the Dabin trip was spent chilling and adventuring the Denver area. We did everything from sightseeing in the Red Rocks area, playing at Top Golf, and finding great places to eat & drink.
Hidden Gem – Arden Tearoom
Being that our group was having a great time cruising around Denver led us to the hidden gem Arden Tearoom. This little gem of a shop in Lakewood, Colorado is something you would not expect when you first arrive at its parking lot. When we got out of our car and started approaching Arden we were a bit confused. The entrance to the shop makes it look like it is a part of the neighboring store.
After, the slight confusion and being able to enter Arden we discovered a hidden gem of a store in Lakewood, Colorado. The floral-themed decor throughout the store and the items on the menu made the drive to this store worth it.
Personally, loved the Strawberry Matcha with Boba the best because of the colors when first picked up to the various flavors mixed in! Definitely a place we would go back to if we were back in the Lakewood area in Colorado.
